Cambridge FCE (First Certificate in English) is an internationally recognised qualification. Thousands of employers, universities and government departments recognise FCE as a qualification in Upper Intermediate English. Bayside’s FCE course prepares students for the FCE exams. FCE has 5 separate exams – reading, writing, use of English, listening and speaking.
This is an ideal course for students who wish to study in an intensive learning environment and for students who want to improve their English for work or study purposes.
Students benefit from the class being small (maximum of 12 students) and closed (there are no weekly intakes, the same students and teachers are in the class from week 1 through to week 12). Strong bonds and friendships form between the students and between the students and the teachers.
The FCE exam preparation course is an intensive general English course at Upper Intermediate level. There is a strong focus on formal and informal language, grammar, vocabulary and high level reading and writing skills.
The FCE exam preparation course runs for the 12 weeks leading up to the fixed exam dates. Bayside’s next FCE exam preparation course runs from
13 September to 3 December 2010 (for the exam on 7 December 2010).
