We recommend Homestay accommodation, which is living with an Australian family.
It is a reliable way to find a safe, reputable family to live with in Melbourne.
And it is a fantastic way to:
- get to know Australian families
- live in a family home
- practise speaking English
- learn about the Australian way of life
- make Australian friends.
Home-stay families provide students with:
- a private single room with a bed, desk, bed-linen, and towels
- 3 meals a day if you wish.
All members of Bayside College's Homestay families aged 18 years and above must provide a current Victoria Police Clearance. All families are assessed as to their home and personal suitability for providing Home-stay accommodation.
A 24 hour emergency support service is provided to students to ensure peace of mind.
For more information about Bayside College's Homestays, please look at www.student-accommodation.com.au/
Of course, Homestay accommodation does not suit everyone, and we are happy to help you find other accommodation that is close to the College. You can choose from:
- Student Hostels
- Flats
- Apartments
- Houses you can share.
These are all available on either a short-term or a long-term basis, and there are many to choose from, all within walking distance of Bayside College.
