IELTS and Advanced English: Certificate IV in Spoken and Written English (further study) (CRICOS Code 064037B).

Bayside College’s Advanced English Program is designed for high intermediate level students who wish to focus on their English skills with a view to pursuing further education in Australia or other English-speaking countries.

Skills learned will include:

  • Essay and assignment writing
  • Oral presentations
  • Reading academic texts
  • Listening to and understanding lectures
  • Preparing for tests and exams.

Within Certificate IV in Spoken and Written English, we focus on familiarising students with the IELTS exam and its four tests – focusing on listening skills, reading skills, writing skills, and speaking skills.

Students will develop strategies for the IELTS exam, and sit practice tests. This will give them a firm grounding in the skills needed for the IELTS exam.  Bayside's teachers include IELTS examiners, so students will learn the skills they need to do well in the IELTS exam.

This particular course involves a high degree of personal interaction with your teacher.

Students may enrol for any number of weeks, from 1 week to 20 weeks.  Classes start every Monday.
